Puppy First Timer Setup Package
Want to make sure that you and your puppy are prepared for the world together? Want some tips that will make life with your little velociraptor a little more tolerable? Perhaps you feel like your puppy is unusually challenging and would like a bit of specialised advice? Get the help you need to navigate these important months and minimise the frustrations that puppies can bring!
Group Puppy Classes
Learn about how to train your new puppy in a small group class environment, including basic manners, confidence building activities, helpful tricks, and more! Tailored content for each group based on each puppy's needs, and including managed one-on-one puppy interactions and helpful discussion points about common (& not so common) challenges with raising a puppy. Classes are opened based on demand, and are held at Chancellor Park Vet on Sundays.
Puppy Pairing Service - Breed
Know you want to adopt a puppy or dog but aren't quite sure of what the right match would be? Sam can provide valuable insights into what type of dog might suit you best in terms of breed tendencies, behavioural and health risk factors, exercise & mental stimulation requirements and more. Using her years of experience in pet dog training and animal shelter environments, she can recommend one or a list of likely matches in terms of breed and breed mixes.
Premium Puppy Pairing
In addition to the services provided in the standard Puppy Pairing, Sam can do further research into finding you the perfect puppy or dog by consulting with breeders in the area and either going with you to meet adult dogs from the family (as that is the best predictor of how a puppy will grow up), or consulting via video. Includes a preliminary behaviour assessment and notes with suggestions about how and what to start training once you bring them home.
